Spanish Fighting Bull
medium difficulty · 19 pieces on 18 sheets.
Rendered from the same 3D model the sheets are cut from.
How to build it
19 pieces. You need card, a craft knife, a steel ruler, an empty ballpoint and glue.
- 1
Print
Print every sheet at 100 % on card between 160 and 220 gsm. Check the 5 cm line on sheet 1 with a ruler before you cut anything.
- 2
Score the folds
Before cutting, run an empty ballpoint along every dashed line, against a steel ruler. Scored card folds crisply; unscored card cracks.
- 3
Cut out the pieces
Cut along every solid line, around the glue tabs too. Keep the blade upright and cut toward you.
- 4
Cut out the eye panels
The small fine-dotted triangles are where your eyes go. Cut them out and throw them away.
- 5
Fold
Mountain folds away from you, valley folds toward you. Fold each one fully, then open it halfway.
- 6
Glue, number to number
Glue each tab under the edge that carries its number. Start at the nose and work outwards. Leave the chin and the back rim for last.
- 7
Make it wearable
Punch a hole on each side of the back rim and tie elastic through. Try it on before the glue sets, so you can ease any seam that pinches.
